SAPPHIRE COAST
The Sapphire Coast is located approximately halfway between Melbourne and Sydney, on the far south coast of New South Wales.
It stretches from Bermagui in the north to Wonboyn in the south, encompassing the country villages and towns of the Bega Valley Shire.
It is only a 3 hour drive from Canberra via Cooma or a 6-7 hour drive from either Melbourne or Sydney. Flights operate between Merimbula, Sydney & Melbourne.
Fly, drive or catch a bus – there are many options available.
Getting to the Sapphire Coast is easy, choosing from the huge range of things to see when you’re here might take some more time!

FLY
Merimbula Airport offers flights to Sydney and Melbourne, with regular services by Regional Express and Qantas Link. Merimbula Airport has excellent facilities including a cafe, parking, car rental and taxi services.
