RIDE GUIDE TO THE SAPPHIRE COAST
Challenge yourself on some of the best singletrack in the country, in a community that loves the sport. Thrill-seekers, seasoned riders and beginner riders alike will delight in our huge network of singletrack at Gravity Eden and Tathra, as well as ample fire trails and cycling paths waiting to be explored.
You can hire a mountain bike (including high quality E-Bikes) in Eden, Tathra or Merimbula, whilst shuttle services are available at Gravity Eden Mountain Bike Park with Eden Shuttles. Guided and self-guided mountain bike and cycling tours are on offer with Navigate Expeditions.
Mountain bikers are welcomed in our towns and villages with MTB-friendly accommodation fitted with lockable bike storage, bike wash facilities, bike racks and more.
Each year, mountain bikers flock to the Sapphire Coast for MTB events in Tathra and Eden, including Tathra Mountain Bike Festival (14 March 2025) and the Quad Crown MTB Series (September).
Gravity Eden Mountain Bike Park
Brand-new Gravity Eden Mountain Bike Park is located in the coastal forests of Eden with more than 58km of premium machine-built mountain bike trails for all skill levels, and is set to become a must-ride Australian mountain biking destination!
With over 300m of elevation, you can ride from summit to sea along gravity-fed trails with lots of flow and awesome natural features. The main trailhead features a dedicated Skills Park with asphalt pump track and dirt jump park, plus picnic tables and parking.
Tathra Mountain Bike Trails
Hit the steeps, gullies & climbs at Tathra's community-built Bundadung & Fire Shed Trails, snaking through a stunning coastal bush setting up to 137m above sea level.
Tathra's MTB trail network features over 55km and 40+ singletrack trails for adrenaline junkies to explore. Tathra is also home to the legendary Tathra Mountain Bike Festival, attracting some of the best riders from around Australia. It's held each year over the June long weekend.
